Junior League of Winston-Salem

Community Partnerships

The Junior League of Winston-Salem, Inc. has an interest in building community partnerships in two main focus areas: 1) educating and mentoring youth birth to eighteen and 2) addressing women's health issues related to nutrition and wellness.  Our position statement can be found here.  Community organizations that have missions devoted to one of these areas may submit an application to utilize Junior League of Winston-Salem trained volunteer members.  (Proposals for volunteer placements that do not fall within one of these two focus areas cannot be considered.) On average, a Junior League of Winston-Salem volunteer contributes 40 hours a year to her assigned placement.

The next set of applications for volunteer placements will be accepted in fall 2010.  Approved placements will run from June 2011 through May 2012.
