Junior League of Winston-Salem

Helping Hands Committee

The Junior League of Winston-Salem’s (JLWS) Helping Hands Committee assists organizations in the community that may not need League volunteers on a consistent basis, but need help staffing a one or two day event. The placement provides the opportunity for JLWS members to give back to the community through service to such agencies. The Helping Hands Committee recruits assistance from additional JLWS members for project implementation as needed.

Organizations/agencies interested in taking advantage of Helping Hands need to submit an online application. The committee collaborates with the President and the Community Vice President to select interesting and appropriate projects.

Community Organizations: Complete and submit an online Helping Hands application.
