Puppet Show

Since 1986, the Junior League of Winston-Salem (JLWS ) has presented a live puppet show, You Can Always Talk to Someone, to all third graders in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools (WS/FCS).

“You Can Always Talk to Someone” (Puppet Show) addresses the issues of child abuse, neglect and internet safety.  The Puppet Show empowers children with the knowledge of what to do in these situations and encourages students to talk with a trusted adult.

During the 2016-17 school year, over 4,400 WS/FCS students have seen the performance; with 80-100 students coming forward to discuss issues covered in the Puppet Show.
