Congratulations to Kathryn Gehrs and Kristina Stevenson, the recipients of the JLWS Literacy and Education Equity (LEEF) fall mini-grants. Kathryn Gehrs is a Kindergarten Teacher at Kimberly Park Elementary. Kristina Stevenson is an Art Teacher at Smith Farm Elementary.

The funds from the LEEF endowment support individual schools within the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School system on projects that align with our community focus areas of children’s literacy, educating and mentoring youth, and improving family health outcomes. We look forward to another mini-grant cycle in Spring 2024!
